The Common Man
But most will tread the middle path,
achieve as best they can,
and they make up the multitude
known as the common man.
Most all of us are in this group.
This fact we can’t escape.
But each of us will add his bit
n molding history’s shape,
God must have loved the common man.
Of them he made the most
Their numbers must indeed be large
among the Heavenly Host
