Hey, I’m a senior citizen, too.
I can’t remember what next to do.
Before retiring, though, I take care
To remove my hearing aids, and hair.
Those kids of fifty, how can they be
Considered seniors, like you and me?
They still can remember what they have got,
And how to use it, worn out or not.
I should be glad I’m still alive,
Cause I am nearly eighty five
Thankful that I can still make rhyme
And thumb my nose at Father Time.
