Little Joe from Pocono
Upon a time once long ago,
in the mountain town of Pocono,
there lived a boy who failed to grow.
That’s why they called him “Little Joe.”
Now Little Joe was slight of height,
but he was quick and very bright.
Bullies taunted him to fight,
but he would duck from left to right.
He was good natured, kind, but tough.
Despite his height, he could play rough.
And finally, he ‘d had enough;
he just got tired of all their stuff.
In their little game, he would not join.
Instead, he girded up his loins.
He turned his foot like flipping a coin,
and he caught one bully in the groin.
That bully was sore for a day or so.
He’s learned a lesson they all now know.
Don’t mess with a guy whose name is Joe,
if he’s little Joe from Pocono.
