Footprints in Time Etched on the Wall
The prints imbedded on this wall
Made by a babe so very small
A babe petite with tiny feet,
So innocent, so very sweet
The one who left these prints, you see,
An adult soon will grow to be,
An adult grown in years, and tall,
Soon outgrows footprints on the wall.
But the baby I shall eer recall
Reminded by this memory wall.
Here will these footprints always be,
Imprinted for posterity.
